Carter Fields
At first when I was reading I thought this is not a book I like, memoirs are just not my thing, but while reading i thought well this is getting better, alot better. I feel connected to her while reading by just the way she writes. Just the fact that her brother gets taken away and she never sees him again and she has to leave her home is just all to sad. my question with her brother is does he die or live? because she only gets letters from him but never says if he does live. When she found out her dad died that might be the most depressing part so far to me because i can't imagine losing my parents ever especially at that young of a age. I also feel bad for Abek because he loves her but she only likes him and will only like him. Abek also helps her and tries to get her out but Greda doesn't want to end up marring him. If i was in her position i probably would have taken it and married the person trying to get me out of a concentration camp. i cant wait to keep reading this book.
